The Endoscopy Decontamination facility project involved modifying the existing clinical space to provide a suitable clean room and decontamination spaces to suit the requirements of the endoscopy facility.
- This required a new packaged plant room on the flat roof above (incorporating a new air handling unit, pump sets etc), and small power to the new endoscopy equipment. The existing lighting in the endoscopy area were replaced with IP rated clean room fittings and all accessories were anti-microbial.
- Ferguson Brown carried out a site survey and provided a condition appraisal of the engineering services associated with DSDU.
- Liaised with DSDU and Estates staff and potential providers of the equipment to produce indicative layouts for the installation.
