Introduction
Appointed for BREEAM assessment services to help achieve an Excellent rating for the redevelopment of Finchley Memorial Hospital on a 9 acre site at Bow Lane, North Finchley, London. The project was completed in 2012 having achieved the Excellent rating.
Sustainability Objectives
A 20% reduction in CO2 emissions was achieved with a combination of photovoltaic cells and combined heat and power (CHP). Some of the other features which helped achieve the Excellent rating were:

Metering and BMS controls to identify areas of unusual energy use and to promote energy efficient building operation
