New build Ecological Visitor Centre providing a “naked” building to help educate the visitors and users in the workings of a building. The building is naturally ventilated and has been designed to be energy efficient, incorporating photovoltaics.
This project has achieved 76.0 % (EXCELLENT) in a Design and Procurement bespoke BREEAM assessment and 80.6% (EXCELLENT) in a bespoke BREEAM Post Construction Review. This is the highest score of any bespoke building to date and reflects the exemplary sustainability credentials of the design and the surrounding site.
